My last year was nothing like the one previous, and I couldn&#039;t wait for the season (and suffering) to be over. It was clear that the younger rowers did not know the feeling of perfection and did not seek it.

I have been on a software team as united and in sync as my best crew. I&#039;ve also been part of a team that could best be described as a bunch of tennis players. Layoffs forced me from the former and I willingly left the latter. I was not willing to suffer any longer.

While I&#039;ll never be in shape to row again nor know others to row with, I do pursue the same feeling in practicing agile.</description>
